Clapperboard Clock With alarm clock

Clapperboard Clock With alarm clock

If you’ve always wanted to be working in the movie industry, then the Clapperboard Clock With alarm clock is for you. With genuine clapping sound to boot, this clock tells the time and wakes you up in the morning. This Hollywoody gadget is a good gift I guess for movie freaks. Just don’t go chopping peoples hands with it, hehe.

It tells the time in its clapperboard form factor, displaying Hour, Minute, Second, Tenth Second, Date, Month and Year at a glance. It also features a built-in alarm clock function, and the only way to shut off the alarm when it rings would be to press the clapperboard. I would’ve preferred something more interactive, like shouting “Cut!”. It will retail for $77

Griffin FlexGrip, FlexScreen and Screen Care Kit for iPod touchGriffin, maker of all things iPod has just announced (2 days ago) the new FlexGrip and FlexScreen cases for iPod. They’ve also released a new Screen Care Kit for iPod touch. The full info below and somehow I feel I’ve seen this type of casings before but I can’t feel that out yet.

FlexGrip
FlexGrip provides the ultimate in silicone protection for iPod nano and iPod touch against dirt, dings, dents and scratches. The two-color case is smooth on top with a textured, nubby rear surface for easy grip. It goes on easily and allows full access to the screen, connectors, and controls. Griffin’s new Screen Care Kit for iPod touch includes five static peel screen protectors, and a premium lint-free cleaning cloth to remove smudges, dust, and fingerprints. Cleaning and care instructions are included, making this kit a necessity for the iPod touch user who wants to preserve the screen from damage.

Pics of lot tech Nokia 6205 clamshell phone leaked

Nokia 6205 clamshell phone

With rising food and oil prices, Nokia takes the reverse trend from their Vertu line to churn out low tech phones like the 6205 phone. There are some leaked product shots over at Howard Forums and its looks like it will be out soon…The Nokia 6205 clamshell phone is just an average-sized clamshell flip phone with a small external LCD display and flash-equipped VGA camera, so keep your compact cameras handy as VGA sized pics suck big time. Its a good Nokia comes out with such phones as the market needs one in this desperate times.

Verizon’s logo is stamped on top of the external flap, right above the external music controls. Which looks like very hard evidence of Nokia’s recent plan to cooperate with wireless carriers more now to gain US market share.

Samsung P960 DVB-H Slider Phone

Samsung P960 DVB-H Slider Phone

You’d probably be crazy to get a DVB-H Slider Phone above like the Samsung P960 because of one issue - coverage. Most of the coverage is in European countries namely Albania, Finland and Italy while there are ongoing trials in Asia countries too. Its a simple matter of too soon but if you are someone who likes to show off, then by all means get it if you can. Good news is that by the end of 2008 there will be widespread coverage in France, Austria, Germany, Switzerland even Moscow in Russia.

Samsung P960 DVB-H Slider Phone specs:

It supports DVB-H, DVB-CBMS and OMA-BCAST European Mobile TV standards. Has 2.6-inch QVGA TFT display, a 3 Megapixel camera with power LED, integrated music player, and FM radio with RDS.

RIM KickStarts a clamshell BlackBerry phone

Thanks to BGR, we now have word on this new RIM BlackBerry phone that sports a clamshell design. Its’ a big move for RIM since their design is more suited to business people on the move. I bet this will increase their sales in Japan since people there love clamshells. From the pic below, it looks like a glossy glass encased front display with metal coating. Pretty slick from the older plastic looking BlackBerries I’ve seen. The KickStart BlackBerry phone specs after this :

The KickStart is a Quad-band GSM phone with a 240×320 internal display, a 160×128 external screen, a 2 Megapixel camera and the next generation SureType keypad. The clamshell KickStart will support WiFi 802.11b/g connectivity and has a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Lenovo IdeaPad U110 Ultraportable

Lenovo IdeaPad U110 Ultraportable

The upcoming Lenovo IdeaPad U110 Ultraportable is a 11 inch wonder that will fit in any purse or bag for that matter. Not that I fancy small display notebooks since I’m still so in love with my Dell 1520 notebook. The Lenovo IdeaPad U110 Ultraportable is the smaller amongst its bigger versions - the 17-inch Y710, and the 15.4-inch Y510.

I’ve found out that IdeaPads have textured lid finishes (unglossiness ?), sleek “frameless” screens, media contro keys on the top side of the keyboard and a bright orange button, called the Shuttle Key, which can be used on its own to control volume or other functions (sort of a Fn key). Also included will be a Shuttle Center media software, Dolby Home Theater sound, built-in 1.3-megapixel webcam, face off biometric security and quick system recovery in case viruses strike.

Watch the Lenovo Idea Pad U110 video on CNET TV.

New Upgraded iMacs coming

New Upgraded iMacs coming

Techdigest has news that new iMacs are haeded our way. Not that its a big thing since its only a small upgrade in terms of newer faster CPUs and larger hard drives. Definitely a good wait for those who want to move from Windows to the Mac for a good deal. And I do love their slim sexy keyboards.
