  CHRISTMAS HOOD
by Emily, Phil and Tony Boardman

Chapter 9: Christmas Morning

On Christmas morning the Tracy family had all gathered together in the lounge at Tracy Villa. Lady Penelope and Parker had come for the celebrations and along with Grandma, Tin Tin, Jeff and the boys they were all gathered around sharing presents. Kyrano was serving drinks and mince pies.
Lady Penelope bought the Tracy brothers each a pullover, as they opened these presents each of them commented on it being their favourite colour. Scott had blue, John green, Virgil orange, Gordon yellow and Alan a white pullover.
“How did you know the boys favourite colours Penelope?” asked Tin Tin.
“Now that has been a special mission of mine over the last month” replied Lady Penelope.
“Y-y-yeah, and I helped too” added Brains “Y-you see. I’ve invented a n-n-new code that is even harder to break. I w-w-was going to add the code to the decipher machine in Thunderbird 5. B-but M-Mister Tracy asked me not to. I-instead he has been using the code to communicate with Lady P-P-Penelope to discuss what you boys might like for Christmas. Y-You see we knew if the decipher machine in Thunderbird 5 couldn’t break the code then you boys wouldn’t be able to listen in on the discussions.” The brothers looked at each other with their mouths open as Brains went on “I’ll add that new code to the decipher machine right after Christmas M-M-Mister Tracy.”
“OK, Brains. Good work” Jeff answered as he tried on some Wallace and Gromit slippers, he’d received from Grandma.
“Unbreakable Code?” muttered John to no one in particular.
“Transmissions about what to get us for Christmas?” Virgil added
“Yes, that’s right boys,” said Lady Penelope “I bought your pullovers at Harrods of Knightsbridge. I do like shopping there.”
“Yes, we would have guessed that,” said Alan.
